My Secret Fairy Friend

Well, here it is. These are the things my secret fairy friend sent me! SSSOOOOOOO COOOOLLL!!! All things chocolate! And when I thought there was nothing more there, we found a little chocolate bar in the bottom of the box! She thought of everything! Stuff I didn't know existed! Everything was so nicely packaged and the girls thoroughly enjoyed opening all the little red packages! It was beautiful. We received it a week ago, two days after Valentine's Day, so for us, V-Day lasted longer than normal! It is so fun to get things in the mail. In this day of email and telephones and all things digital, it is nice to get an old-fashioned package. Especially one brimming with goodies that you don't know about! Such fun! She made a beautiful card that was just adorable! There was an adorable little painted canister full of Hershey's kisses like I have never seen before! Raspberry and Cherry Flavored kisses! Who Knew!!! There were altoids. Chocolate ones! The regular ones are way too hot for me, but when they are paired up with chocolate, I could eat the whole box! And the girls just LOVED the M&M's flavored lip gloss. Such fun! And who ever heard of candy-covered, chocolate dipped sunflower seeds. Rosemary, you gotta try these! And the cutest little magnet and key chain! So many nice things!

So, thank you, my Secret Fairy Friend, Stefani, for making this Valentine's Day a day to remember!

When I joined the SOSF, I didn't think it was going to be this much fun! I thoroughly enjoyed this!

The Aireloom Mattress

Okay, we ordered THE MATTRESS. We finally decided on which one to get. And we got the killer President's Day sale price. We were the proverbial "Wheelers and Dealers". We talked 'em down till they were exhausted. We left em in tears 'cause they didn't make any money off the deal. Yeah, we did good. And we got a mattress that is so comfortable, I am going to sleep like a dream. Scott is pretty happy. He said every day till we get it, he's going to be miserable. It's a paradox.

So, we finally got this whole mattress thing done. I can't wait.

Now, what if we don't sleep any better on the new mattress?

Today I am Thankful For...

My Secret Fairy! I will show you all the things she sent me within the next day or so. SOOO Nifty! We got this oh-so-cool package in the mail on Friday afternoon! Thank you!!!

John Harvey

There is a lady at our church whose son is in Iraq. He has a birthday coming up in a week. So, I got this brilliant idea to send him a package from anyone and everyone who wants to participate! We are going to make some cookies and brownies and send a birthday card with happy wishes for him and anyone who wants to comment and send a birthday greeting his way can do so. In fact, we encourage you to do so! If you want so send something along with the package, I will be sending it out on Wednesday, so whatever you want to include (baked goods, toothbrushes, toothpaste, chewing gum, something cool I am not thinking of now), then let me know and I will plan to include it in the shipment. I figure if we get too many things, he can share them with the guys he is with. I am certain they can't have too much! Chocolate bars are happily accepted and I am told Butterfingers are his favorite! So, if you want to be included, please write something nice and I will print all the birthday wishes and if you want to just send a generic hey, how are ya to the guys in the troop, we will send that along as well. No matter what your feelings are on the war, these guys are over there doing their job for their country and deserve to be acknowledged, right? So let's do right by them! Please feel free to post well wishes in the comments!
